Stevan Wayne Denton From birth he has been a fighter, He faced and fought many battles throughout his life. Born with health complications that would always hinder him. The battle with society over his sexuality, losing his first love to A.I.D.S., finding out he tested positive for the H.I.V. virus and given a few years at most to live. Most would give in or give up in this situation. But not Stevan. He fought and battled this war with H.I.V. for 20 + years and to everyone's amazement he had won. It was a huge victory. After a series of treatments he recently tested negative for H.I.V. He couldn't be more deserving. He was full of heart. Always giving a helping hand, a shoulder to cry on, encouraging words, and his wonderful smile. His heart was enormous. But it was also tired. He was tired of fighting. Now he is resting, at peace with those who preceded him in death: His grandparents Hazel Durbin and Lora Durbin, his first love Jim, his uncle Michael Durbin and his father Harry Eugene Denton. He will be greatly missed by those still here: his Mother Virginia Deanna Denton, his siblings Rickie Denton, David & Diane Denton, Rick and Janice Fitch, Denny and Pamela Sanders, Robert Denton. and his 14 nieces and nephews, 27 great nieces and nephews and 4 great great nieces and nephews. His true love and and life partner Leon Houser and countless friends. Some would say Stevan had no children of his own, but they would be forgetting how much he loved his dogs, Duke and Daisy were his children, and they miss him very much. Stevan touched many lives and from his life came many great lessons and story's to be told.
