Joyce Anne (England) Rosales 1958 - 2013 Born in Greenville, South Carolina in 1958, Joyce spent most of her life in Kern County. Adopted into the family of Jack and Nadine England, Joyce and her siblings grew up in Oildale where the family owned Home Plate Pizza. She attended North High School eventually earning a GED. In 1983, she married Augustine Arthur Rosales, Sr. in her parents' pizza parlor where she had many of her happiest memories. Joyce is survived by her husband and children Augustine Rosales, Jr., Jason Brantzeg (Charlotte), Anthony Rosales (Casper), Jeremy England, and Nicole Rosales Parker (Dustin) and also by her grandchildren Zachary Santos, Natalie England, Jacob Rosales, Trento Smith, Christopher Rosales, Breanna Rosales and Samantha Parker. Joyce also leaves behind her siblings John England, Mary Jane Maul Swaney, Eddie Wayne Ballue, Ladina England and Rita Sandoval, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her parents, Darlene Weaver (sister), Augustine Rosales, III (grandson) and Melvin Stehlik (best friend). In life, Joyce worked at Bunny Luv (Grimmway Packaging) and GET Transit Ways where her delightful personality and mischievous smile made her a favorite of her co-workers. During the last two years of her life, her Catholic faith provided strength to deal with the pain and challenges of illness. She was able to spend these last holidays with her family which were very important to her since she knew they would be her last. A rosary and viewing will be held at Alma Mortuary from 6 p.m. til 9 p.m. on January 17, 2013. Mass will be held at St. Francis church at 9 a.m. on January 18, 2013. Pallbearers include Jason Brantzeg, Jeremy England, Alex Vasquez, Andrew Mota, Mario Hernandez, Dr. Oliver Rosales, David Rosales Jr., and Richard Spencer. Honorary pallbearer: Val Garcia. The family expresses their thanks and appreciation to Odyssey Hospice for her care, and Horizon Hospice for the equipment, Dr. Igor Pacheco, Dr. Sudhir Joshi, and Dr. Emanuel Dozier
