Hermina “Minnie” Hernandez

October 1, 1953-April 28,2023

It is with great sadness we share the passing of our beloved Minnie. We are all devastated by

the loss of this beautiful and loving women. She will be greatly missed by all her knew her.

She was employed at Walmart for the last 15 years. This is where she developed special

friendships and established a work family. She absolutely loved being an employee with the

company.

She also had a love for the beach especially Morro Bay. She loved collecting shells and eating

taffy.

She had a great love for all her kids and grandchildren. She was a nurturing, loving and

headstrong woman who put others before herself. The last 7 months she had a special

relationship with her baby sister Ruth. Through Ruth is when she started attending services

regularly. She absolutely loved her church and members. And when they weren’t together they

would talk for hours as if they hadn’t seen each other.

She is preceded in death by her parents Gregorio & Ramona Hernandez.

She leaves behind her children Steven & Lenora Hernandez, Tina & Charles Buckland, Jacob

Jr. & Carey Behill and Paul & Kelly Behill.

12 grandchildren, Jose, Steven, Sophia, Angelina, Jacob III, Abagael, Samantha, Olivia,

Nathan, Noah, Estaban and Ezekiel.

8 great grand children, Desmond, Kris, Ernesto, Kaysen, Elijah, Ezekiel and twins on the way.

She is also survived by her siblings Greg Hernandez, Estella & Cisco Perez, Ruth Mata and

Andy & Donna Hernandez. Plus numerous nieces and nephews.

Minnie will be deeply missed!
