Brian Lee Wright
April 8, 1979 – December 16, 2021

Brian was born in Bakersfield, CA and most recently resided in Wasco, CA. Brian passed unexpectedly in a traffic incident and our family greatly mourns his loss.

Brian was the middle child, rambunctious and full of curiosity. He attended South High School in Bakersfield, CA where he picked up a love for the guitar and saxophone, pool and video games, along with a special gift in math which prompted local oil companies to sponsor him in a math and science program. Brian graduated high school in 1997. He then went on to join his father in the concrete construction industry. Rotondo Wierich Pre-Cast Company hired him as a supervisor that allowed him to travel to Iraq, Barbados, New York, Oklahoma, Alabama, and various other locations. His last employer was Bethlehem Construction in Wasco, CA. He continued there in a supervisory role and traveled through California, Washington state, and Idaho.

Brian is survived by his mother Pam Crowe Bowen and stepfather Don Bowen of Dorris CA, his father Larry Wright and stepmother Amy Wright of Bakersfield CA. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother VeeCee Crowe of San Clemente CA, his younger brother Darren Wright of Dorris CA, his older brother Landon Wright and sister-in-law Jamie Wright of Bakersfield CA, his nieces and nephews including Madeleine, Eloise, Jaden and Ethan Wright and step-nieces Emilie and Maddie also all of Bakersfield CA. There are numerous surviving aunts, uncles and cousins and Brian also had the support of very close friends.

A celebration of life will be held privately at the Hungry Hunter Restaurant on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Brian’s memory to Teen Challenge of Southern California, www.teenchallenge.org , 5445 Chicago Ave., Riverside, CA 92507.

Brian, we will never forget you and we will always love you. We will be reunited with you one day.
